I just want to take a moment to say thank you to all of the veterans out there. We live in a great country and, while we may not all agree on our religion or politics, we can all agree that our freedom is due in large part to our soldiers. Thank you for what you have done for us and what you continue to do. I do my best to continue the tradition that was passed on by my uncle who is a Korean War Marine Vet. He taught all of us in my family from a young age to be sure the thanks veterans when we see them and now I pass that on to my children.
I also want to say thank you to the men and women of the many law enforcement departments out there. You take all of the abuse and second guessing that comes from doing your jobs and do it with a smile. We all sleep better at night knowing that help is just a phone call away.
